ABSTRACT

'Sentiment Analysis on Online Education during Covid Pandemic' is the title of this research. This is the most common method for determining and classifying people's view on any services or products. It is the process to determine if a specific piece of information is positive, negative, or neutral. During COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, educational institutions close, resulting in online schooling. The impact of online education is explored in this research by studying people's reactions to it. Such feedbacks are collected and analyzed by using Lexicon Approach includes (Text Blob, Vader Analysis, and Senti Word Net) to get a better-analyzed result. © 2022 IEEE.

ABSTRACT

To address the need of alcohol-based hand sanitizers during COVID-19, U.S. FDA has issued a guidance for the preparation of hand sanitizers that recommends 80% v/v ethanol or 75%v/v isopropyl alcohol (IPA) along with other ingredients. The aim of this study was to develop a new method to estimate IPA content in hand sanitizers by using Near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy with a multivariate chemo-metric approach. Calibration samples containing 10-90% of IPA were used for model development. NIR data was mathematically pretreated with multiple scattering correction before development of partial least squares (PLSR) and principal component regressions (PCR) model. Both models showed good linearity over the selected range of IPA content with high R2 (>0.993), low root mean squared error (<2.163), minimum difference between standard errors between calibration and validation models (0.0009). The proposed NIR with multivariate methods provide rapid analysis of IPA content in the hand sanitizer.

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we are proposing a contactless temperature measuring and attendance monitoring system because of the pandemic COVID-19. This design is developed using Node MCU, MLX90614 Infrared Thermometer, RFID Reader, and Ultrasonic Sensor. It measures body temperature with an infrared temperature sensor without any physical contact. An RFID card reader is used for scanning the identity card. The ID number and the temperature of students are uploaded into the webpage. This webpage can be monitored over the internet. The details such as Entry time, ID number, No. of students and temperature measurements are stored in the server and displayed in webpage. An Ultrasonic Sensor is used to measure the distance between the sensor and the person. The temperature sensor can measure the temperature when the distance between the sensor and person is around 10 cm for better accuracy. This system is essential in this pandemic situation to avoid the infections.
